Description

Classic playground game! Draw a 2x2 grid with chalk and bounce the ball back and forth to eliminate players.

menu_bookDirections

1

Draw a large square with chalk and divide it into four equal smaller squares.

2

Number the squares 1 to 4. The 'King' is in square 4, and the lowest rank is square 1.

3

The King serves the ball by bouncing it in their square once, then hitting it into another square.

4

The receiving player must let the ball bounce once in their square, then hit it to another square.

5

If a player hits the ball out of bounds, misses the ball, or lets it bounce twice, they are eliminated.

6

When someone is eliminated, they go to the back of the line. Everyone below them moves up a rank.

Does anyone know if you can play this with a volleyball instead?

Yes! A volleyball works perfectly fine, but it might bounce a little differently.
